Just to say that Omar has just completed the site visit this morning. He checked everything out for me. He explained clearly to me what was happening with the issues I was concerned about and put my mind to rest. He also ensured that moving forward I was more aware of the signs that should concern me and what are simply cosmetic. He is a really lovely man who obviously knows his job very well and explains things in a way even I as a novice can understand. Fantastic experience from start to finish. Whole process from quote to completion of survey was a matter of days. Report was detailed, professional and gave plenty of information on the property and its structural inadequacies – which led us to the decision to abort our purchase. I’d just like to take a moment to say how incredible Geraint was today. This is obviously more than just a job to him, it’s his passion and it really put me at ease. His knowledge seemed endless and was able to read structures and houses like a novel, like a house whisperer.

We have had two surveys done on two properties we were hoping to purchase. So glad we did. The first property we have now dismissed the costs of renovation was going higher and higher with out the survey we would not have known the extent of the work involved. The second property we are hoping to buy, Following the surveyors advice we had a roofer look at the roof. All can be sorted with minimum cost. The surveys were carried out very professionally and although we paid for two surveys probably saved us thousands of pounds.

I’m extremely satisfied with the service (full structural survey) provided by Structural Surveys. I was kept informed of the booking process, which from first phone call to getting the results took only 5 days. Tobi the engineer sent the report promptly the day after the survey was carried out. It was extra detailed, including numerous photos and included all the details I was interested in and more. I requested a call back to talk through the findings and Tobi rang me the next morning and explained everything. The seller ended up dropping the price of the property by £20,000 due to the findings of the survey. Worth every penny, would definitely use this company again and recommend them highly.
